In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus tells the disciples to pray for God’s will to be done “on earth as it is in heaven.” Looking at the book of revelation we get a clear picture of the throne room of God and what exists in His eternal presence. Prayer (represented by bowls full of incense) and worship (represented by the harp & songs before His throne) are key aspects of life before God’s majestic throne. If that is what is happening in heaven … wouldn’t be a good idea for us to “replicate” it here on the earth!
