Fear is the number one enemy of faith. Keep in mind that anytime we respond with faith to a situation that provokes fear, we are literally driving out darkness and shining our light! If we are not regularly putting ourselves in situations that feel beyond our own ability, then we are not operating at the level God desires for us. As we continue to take risks, we will become more comfortable with situations that used to make us tremble. As we gain a level of comfort in these smaller risks, we must continue to stretch ourselves by taking larger Holy Spirit inspired risks that cause discomfort.
