Persecution is on the rise and will become more and more prevalent as we near the second coming of Christ. Are you ready? Christians have faced persecution ever since Christ himself was persecuted while on the earth. Persecution was commonplace for the early church and will be the same for every believer living an authentic Christian life. Contrary to the popular notion that persecution only happens on the other side of the world, we need to prepare for the persecution that will surely come against the church in the west. "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:11, 12 - NASB)
