From an understanding of who we are in Christ, we now live as a “chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession.” Followers of Christ are like living stones that are “being built up as a spiritual house.” We are now, and will forever be “choice and precious in the sight of God.”
