The point of developing a supernatural lifestyle is not to merely do a bunch of cool supernatural things. This does not mean that we are not excited about the signs and wonders that result from our obedience, but that the signs and wonders are an expression of a superior reality. Every time we operate in the supernatural, it must result in bringing glory to the Lord and displaying the reality of the kingdom of heaven on earth. There are a number of reasons we are commanded to operate in the supernatural. The primary reasons I will be focusing on are: to glorify God, display the kingdom of heaven, encourage believers, witness to unbelievers, destroy powers of darkness, and remove injustice.
