There are significant rewards for those who partner with the Holy Spirit by operating in supernatural displays of power. God says that we are recompensed according to what we have done in our earthly existence, whether good or bad. This is by no means saying that we earn salvation by our works or lose salvation if we make a mistake, but it does show the direct correlation between the fruit we produced in our time on this planet and how that affects our eternal existence.

Our lives produce more fruit when we walk in the supernatural power of God. In fact, much fruit can only be harvested if we operate in the supernatural. If we only serve the Lord in our natural ability, we will fall far short of the destiny God has prepared for us. Once we know this truth we will yearn to experience more of God's power in our daily lives.
