We pursue the supernatural because we are eager to imitate the life of Christ. Christ was the perfect model for humanity to follow. Because Christ operated regularly in the supernatural, we must also cultivate a naturally supernatural lifestyle. But keep in mind that the demonstrations of power are not an end in themselves. Every supernatural miracle that occurs is meant to point to the goodness and glory of God. These events often prompt a response from the people who are involved (salvation, growing faith, etc.)
